Conquer Mondays with These 5 Tips
As a busy mom of two, my life is all about balance. To replenish myself from the week's workload, I reserve the weekends for unwinding and some "me" time. I want to share with you five easy ways to relax and be fully charged for the Mondays to come!
1.Pamper
Aside from daily cleansing, how many of us find the time to really take care of our skin during the week? Thought so.
That's why weekends exist! They're the perfect time to treat ourselves with a face mask while relaxing with a book or show. My Exfoliating Treatment Mask contains Bentonite Clay and microencapsulated beads that gently buff away dead skin cells. Not only that the mask contains probiotics that keep skin younger, healthier, and more vibrant.
Then, I like to follow that up with my Hydrating Day & Night Cream, leaving my skin hydrated, nourished, and silky smooth.
What's interesting about the entire TULA line is that it uses probiotics (the same good-for-you bacteria that we all have in our gut) via a patented probiotic technology. Try out our Discovery Kit as a great way to introduce yourself to the regimen!
2. Disconnect
With the rise of technology and trendy content, we find ourselves pretty glued to our phones. So why not turn off the notifications for a change?
Over the weekend, I try my best to disconnect from gadgets and work-related email. If work demands my attention, I make an effort to limit my "checks" to once a day. Saturday mornings should be reserved for waking up slowly and enjoying a quiet morning. Maybe even cooking a lovely breakfast or meditatingnot grabbing your phone as soon as you wake up.
3. Sleep
Getting enough sleep is one of the most important elements in improving the quality of your life. So it's important to invest in a setup that works for you.
I'm a light sleeper, so installing blinds to keep the light out and finding a way to cancel noise has been a great help to me. Try treating yourself and investing in quality linens. You'll be excited to crawl into a warm and comfortable bed. The result? More restful sleep!
4. Get Cozy
Just because you're planning on spending most of your time indoors this weekend doesn't mean you can't look good doing it. Find a great robe you can lounge in after a long bath or shower. It'll motivate you to apply your favorite body cream or skincare products. Afterwards, slip into a luxurious set of pajamas. Trust me, you'll love it.
5. Exercise
Depending on your job, you may or may not find yourself stuck at your desk for most of the week. But if you are the type who's sitting countless hours in a chair, a day off is your chance to finally get your body moving!
I like stretching and practicing yoga first thing in the morning in my living room before my kids wake up. Weekends are the perfect time to connect with family and friends so why not do something active together if you don't want to do it alone?
Anything that gets your blood pumping will surely make you happier and healthier for the week to come.
P.S.
After an energizing workout, don't forget to wash your face to get rid of the dirt, sweat, and grease. Try TULA's Purifying Face Cleanser which removes all the grime without drying out your skin.
Have a great weekend!
