She’s a best selling author, Medical Editor at Health Magazine, and a regular medical contributor on The Today Show, Dr. Oz, and CNN.
“Being an internist, teacher, author, wife and mother of two made me realize how important it is for women to achieve balance in life. With so many responsibilities we often neglect our own health, both inside and out. That’s why I co-founded TULA. I wanted to give women products that make them look and feel balanced and beautiful. I started with skincare because glowing radiant youthful-looking skin is a sure indicator that you’re living a healthy lifestyle.”
Dr. Raj has a special interest in women’s health and cancer screening and has published several research articles on colon cancer screening. In 2014 she launched TULA which allowed her to apply her medical knowledge of probiotics, bacteria and yeasts that keep the digestive tract healthy, to create a patented probiotic technology for the skin.
